Sharing the love.

Just a little post about some pretty things I've found online...had to share with my friends!

These two dresses are from J.Crew's Crewcuts kids line... if I had the funds Josie would own these and MUCH more... it's fun to dream! Aren't they lovely??

The next few things are from PaperSource... I love that store! Aren't these chalkboard tiles genius?!

I'm a writer. a doodler. I love the feel of a "smooth" pen. Always have. This would look swell in my hand...

I've adored these little cases for years. I've bought several to create gifts with, but someday I'll have to buy a little trio for myself. LOVE the green.

That's all for now!
XOXO

Girl, you need to learn to sew! Those dresses are adorable and that style is super simple to sew. If you don't own a sewing machine watch Craig's list or Goodwill for a good old (heavy) machine, if it's old you can most likely have it tuned up and it will be great, if it's not old it is plastic and won't tune up so well:)

You have such a great eye you could be turning some great thrifted fabric into cute dresses and shirts and capris and.....

Thanks, Lisa!
I actually have a sewing machine--my family chipped in and bought one for me for my b-day when I was pregnant with Josie...um. She's 7 now (blush). The fact is- I don't know the first thing about USING it. I'm completely intimidated by it!! Do you know of a good "learn to use your sewing machine" blog?? ;)

I'll look around and see what I find, I've got a family reunion down in Houston this weekend so it might not be until next week. Kwik Sew has some books that are great for the beginner, I'll see which of those I can recommend, too.:)
